Commonly known as the Chinese Money Plant, this charming beauty, with its round, coin-shaped leaves, is a perfect plant for the beginner.

Emerald green discs perch on upright stems and grow vigorously. A member of the stinging nettle family, pileas are easy to care for, and add an air of whimsy to your home or office.

ORIGIN Southern China

WATER Water every 1 or 2 weeks, allowing soil to dry out before rewatering

LIGHT Tolerates low light, but prefers bright, indirect light. Rotate your pilea regularly to encourage even growth.

TEMPERATURE 16-30 degrees celsius

HUMIDITY No extra humidity is required

TOXICITY Non-toxic to humans and animals

FERTILIZER Feed every month in the spring and summer with an all purpose fertilizer.  Apply to damp soil so you don't burn the roots.
