 how to nurture your nature

  ORIGIN

Tropical forests of Southeast Asia, India, and the Pacific Islands.

  WATER

Keep moist, but not soggy. Allow soil to dry 50% between watering.

  LIGHT

A bright, sunny location. An east or south-facing window is preferred.

  TEMPERATURE

They thrive in a warm room. 20-30 degrees celsius.

  HUMIDITY

Think tropical. They love humidity, and benefit from regular misting, or being set on a pebble tray with water. Wipe leaves with a damp cloth occasionally.

  TOXICITY

Toxic to humans and animals if consumed. Their leaves contain sap which is an irritant to skin and eyes.

  FERTILIZER

Feed every month in the spring and summer with an all purpose fertilizer.  Apply to damp soil so you don't burn the roots.
